You have skills, and you can use them to thrive |

This is a website about social, emotional, and behavioral skills (SEB skills). You use SEB skills to start and support your relationships, keep your emotions in check, achieve your goals, and learn from experience. They’re things like goal setting, leadership, teamwork, creativity, and emotion regulation. And just like academic or athletic skills, we believe that SEB skills can be learned, practiced, and improved over time.
We also believe that SEB skills can be measured. To help do this, we’ve created an assessment tool called the Behavioral, Emotional, and Social Skills Inventory (BESSI). The BESSI measures many specific skills across five broad categories: Self-Management, Social Engagement, Cooperation, Emotional Resilience, and Innovation Skills. It’s reliable, valid, comprehensive, quick, and free to use for non-commercial purposes.
